Hello all, I have a user that when he opens his Crystal Reports, in the title bar at the top it is showing the report name in 8.3 format. Does anyone know how to change this back to show the long filename again? This is an issue because we have a lot of reports and then names are similar all but the end and when he makes changes to the reports he needs to double check that he is in the correct report. I really appreciate any help you can give me!

Thanks!

Please at least post the version of your software.

I'm unaware of this setting, must be something very old, very new, or you mean something within an application..

You can override this with File->Summary Info->Title, which I always do, it also is useful for Crystal Enterprise and external code.

I am sorry, I normally always put the product information in here. We are on Crystal Reports Professional 7.0.0.0 and CRW32 7.0.1.192. I hope this helps. I looked into changing the Summary Info but we are talknig about over 200 reports and this used to work and it still shows the long file name on another PC with the same version on it.
