8.1.7 on P4 and XP

Hi,
There is a bug on installing on Pentium 4 - although I am not sure that the same problem also exists on XP. Basically, the problem relates to the fact that the Installer hangs without any error messages.
If this is your problem, the please refer to the Oracle Metalink website for the fix.
