8.1.(63) and (67) quirky issues

I have a couple of customers that are running 8.1 (63) and (67). One customer is complaining that all of their call park buttons keep flashing on some phones and not others (all have same park buttons). To fix it, a reboot is done, but the problem randomly comes back. Is there a patch to fix this issue?

Another issue is: I have a customer with 9508 phones and 1 extension is unable to receive calls, even from internal dialing. I get a message that says "the number you are trying to reach is disconnected." No voicemail picks up even though it was working, the phone is on displaying the proper user and extension number. The user can dial others by extension number, and the only way you can call the extension is by doing a direct dial short code to that extension. Everything for that user was working properly and just stopped working... Any ideas?

Build 67 had a bug with call park. Just upgrade it to build 69 to fix that.

As for the user that can't receive calls - check that there isn't call forwarding set to an incomplete or disconnected number.

How did yo upgrade to 8.1 (69)

I remember it was file>advanced>upgrade in manager to update the software.

Am I doing this correctly? I do not see the 8.1 (69) as the most recent option.

you need to upgrade the manager install that you're trying to upgrade FROM to 8.1.69 first. Then it will show as 8.1.69 as being available.

if you are on an IP500V2 do not use file/advanced/upgrade (unless you have hours to spare)
recreate the SD card in an SD card reader instead
