I looked through the whats new in this release but cannot find out where this is. Since upgrading from 7.x platform to 8.0.9.20 I have noticed a new "feature" that has come availible on the 5330 and 5340 phones. At the top of the screen, everyones phone now displays "REDIAL No: <last # you dialed>". Does anyone know how to remove that item. I checked COS but I cant find anything that really describes it.

Check again, the feature is "Surpress Redial Display."

The option to supress redial display has been around since rel 7.1
The display has only appeared after upgrade to rel 8 UR3 for some reason.
My customers don't like it either.
