Anyone out there running 8.0 VM Pro on a Linux server that can try something for me? When trying to save a value against a user variable, I noticed that the value doesn't stick. I'm setting it manually via the VM client then doing a save and make live. When trying to query that variable I get an error. I check VM Pro and the variable name is there, but the value I assigned isn't there anymore. I haven't yet tried to save the value using a 'set user variable' action in VM Pro to see if that works.

I did this on a 8.0 Windows VM server with no issue, so I suspect its a Linux VM glitch.

I have seen this happening on other versions too but not all the time.
I think it is caused by something else but I have no idea what is causing it.

I need to add some more.
I have seen it on Windows too.

I'll do some more playing. First I thought it may have been because I hadn't updated the client on my PC since the first GA candidate release, but it still does it with the latest client downloaded from the GA application server. I worked around the immediate issue by using a menu action to look for the digits in question, but I'd prefer to not do that long term.

When using variables then alway have the last "false" result follow the normal route.
