I tried to push Symantec Corporate 8.0 client from the SCC
out to a client PC that I logged onto locally as Administrator, and it worked fine. The next one I tried, I
was logged onto the network as Administrator, and it seemed
to work, but SCC can't see the client, and the client PC
runs slooow, and won't even let me log off, restart or shut
down. Finally had to manually re-boot PC. I can open
the Symantec Anti-virus Client, but there is no parent server showing (tried copying over the grc.dat file, but no
change). And, in add/remove programs, there is no Symantec
Antivirus Client showing, so the install obviously didn't
complete. Tried manually uninstalling everything per Symantec instructions, but on trying to re-load the client,
I get the same results.
