7960 Silver Faceplate

I want to update my phone with a newer logo lowercase Cisco faceplate.

How do I remove the existing faceplate without destroying the phone or chipping the plastic on the dark grey area above the messages buttons. Also how do I keep from destroying the LCD display when changing this faceplate?
