7960 / P003AM30 / CM8.6

OK. I have my self in a situation.

Need to install 7960 phones onto an 8.6 Cluster. Problem is these phones have been left in a store room for years and the firmware is P003AM30

Now I know there is a file size firmware issue with these phones so am struggling to upgrade.

Does enaybody have a procedure I can follow to get this done. Biggest problem is the site is remote to me so relying on 3rd party to let me know what is on the display at any time.

Any assistance would be gratefuly received. Even if it is to say "It wont happen"

You may have to upgrade in stages. If you look on the Cisco site, you should be able to find out what steps you need to take, as well as the loads you may have to use.
