7960 Downgrade Firmware

Hi,

Does anyone know how to downgrade the firmware from 5.0 Digital signature image to a non digital signature image ( v4.4 3.2 or non *.sbn) ?

I upgrade my 7960 phone to 5.0 image but I want to downgrade to 3.2. Cisco doesn't want to provide me with a solution. They said I can't downgrade.

Can anyone help me ?

It can't be done... the documentation warned you repeatedly that once you upgraded to 5.0 and loaded the digital signature code that you would not be able to go back. I am not aware of any method of getting around this. Are you having problems with the 5.0 firmware? I'm running it on my phones with CM 3.2 and haven't had any issues.

Thanks for your reply. I'm having problems pushing URL/messages to the phones. when I push a URL to the phone. I get the error message '<CiscoIPPhoneError Number=&quot;0&quot;>' and nothing happens on the phone.
