I'm deploying a large number of IP phones and some how some people with special needs had been over looked in the planning stage. the people are useing what's called a loop device to assist them with hearing. I have been told by the manufacture that as long as the handsets are T or hearing aid compatible the device should continue to work after we deploy the new VoIP phones.
I can't find anywhere weather these sets are compatible or not.
Anybody know?

According to the Cisco website the 7960 & 7940 are hearing-aid compatible and meet the American Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements:

There is another document that states

A hearing-aid-compatible handset (meets American Disabilities Act [ADA] requirements) and HAC compliance for magnetic coupling to approved HAC hearing aids'
