I'm having a problem assigning a 7942 phone to a device pool. The error message I'm getting when I try is: "Cisco Discovery Protocol(CDP):Switch port: Warning!..." followed by some other messages. The result is that I can't assign the phone to the DP. I should mention that I installed Device Package 41(89.0)to CCM and am using the SCCP file for the 7942 phone. My CCM didn't have the phone firmware prior to the device package upgrade. Anyone else have this issue? Many thanks.
