7915 Side Car Issue

Have a 7915 side card on a Cisco 7962 phone set. The side car currently has local partitioned users appearing on it as BLF. The local extensions work and we can see call activity. They want to put a couple of users from another partition on that 7915 so they can see who is available. The members names and extensions are showing up fine. Instead of the phone icon showing off hook etc, all we get is a small square of dots appearing by the name. Did I miss something? Can this be done between two different partitions?

I almost forgot... its Call Manager 8.6.2

That icon is a speed dial if I read your post correctly. You need to change it to a BLF

Another thing to check is to make sure the SUBSCRIBE Calling Search Space is set to something that can call that partition.
