7800 gt manual 1

Hi Would like some assistance regarding
a manual(link) for a eVGA 7800GT 256mb
video card have been able to find plenty
of reviews and sales links but nothing
for a manual.
Have just bought a used one from local
forums this being the last part for a new
am2 4600+ x2 build and the budget was stretched
a bit thin thus a used vid card
Card runs fine on the DVI 2 port but display
is mainly green on the DVI 1 port all latest
drivers have been instaled I am using a DVI to VGA
adaptor so as to use a crt monitor.
Its just bugging me that I can't find a
home page for this card its as if evga never
made a 7800gt.

any assistance would be much appreciated

I'm not sure even the eVGA manual would tell you what you need to know, but here is the generic OEM information for the 7800 series, straight from the horse's mouth.

I would try:
A different DVI to VGA adapter
A different monitor
Different version drivers
Enough clean power? seperate power to the PCIe connector, preferably not a looped power connector

But it does sound like a faulty card.

eVGA does have a very good customer service and warranty department BUT it would help to know the original registration details (if registered) can you email the first owner?

Don't think I would have much luck with an rma this card could well be third hand came bare no box no drivers etc did come with an nv silencer though (cheap)

Just thought some one might know a quick fix, worth a try.

Tried different drivers, psu 650w sli tried both 6pins
will try different vga adaptor but I think your right card
is more likely faulty but to its credit it does play on dvi 2 port current games with no problems settings on medium 8x aa and with good temps 41c so it might have to do until I can upgrade
