This machine is not wiping the transfer assembly, so now I get repeating images. No errors

Thanks

Walter

Repeating or ghost images can also be caused by the fuser. Run the clean fuser from the front panel, this will run blank sheets through and you can see the images on the pages. If after cleaning the first couple prints look good then it comes back then you may have a bad fuser. You can also remove the imaging unit and look at the accumulator belt to see if there is a remaining image on it, that would tell you if it was being cleaned off properly.

its the accumulator belt not being cleaned. the fuser is not the problem, or at least not for having the images on it. it appears to be not lifting the accumulator wiper cleaning assembly.
