780 clicks on left side and jams AB every time 1

This printer has been great for me up til now but it just started making a click, click, click noise on the left side of the printer and jams every time I try to print. I looks as though, when I clean the jam that the paper is just getting to the fuser and stopping.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like you have a problem in the fuser section. Pull the fuser out and check for broken gears either in the fuser drawer itself or the gears that can be seen in the cavity where the fuser sits. You may need to replace the fuser or the entire fuser tray assy if you can not find any broken gears.

Thank you again... It was indeed a broken gear! The whole thing was broken in half but still held on by a tiny bit of plastic so it looked like it was fine until you touched it.

Now I have to see just how rugged Super Glue is! : )

If anyone reads this and knows of a place to buy a new gear for this Id appreciate knowing that... Id feel better knowing that a new gear is in there.
