I just purchased a 7700 and every paper I have tried in the printer comes out wavy. I have used from 20 lb to 32 lb paper Is this normal for this printer.

I don't know if it is true for you Xerox, but we had the same problem with 2 oki color printers. We found that if we turned them off at night, they would develop a flat spot on the fuser rollers which would curl the paper. we found by leaving trhem on 24/7, the problem went away.

The fuser in a Phaser 7700 consists of a roll against a belt, so it would be unlikely to have caused a flat spot. As a 7700 is now a fairly old model, I would suggest that the fuser may require replacement though. If the machine has done any more than 75-100,000 prints especially if most are colour a new fuser assembly would be the first step.
