Hello,

In Impromptu I went under the profile table an it says:

14s +/-02s with 77% confidence

What does 77% confidence mean?

Mark,
It's a statistical term that, if Cognos is using appropriately (and why shouldn't they....), indicates that for the recorded number of times that report has been run, 77% of the times taken fall within the band 13.98 and 14.02 seconds.
The standard use of confidence is 95% = giving a central figure, with plus and minus figures to give a range that includes 95% of the samples.
I think the timing figures for each report are held in an .ini file, I forget which one.
