OK, normaly an obvious problem, but this one is getting me:

I have 1 map, simple blob in = blob out.

IFD card settings:

IN Card #1 FTP adapter:
-PORT -URL ftp://xxx:password@url.com/db/*.file;type=A

OUT Card #2 File adapter:
C:\myfile\output\*.txt <---yes, this dir exists and has permissions set up correctly.

LAUNCHER OUTPUT:
System: SABA Dev
Component: SabaDBMove
Map: E:\EC\Appint\SabaDBMove.mmc
Start Time: Mon Feb 13 17:13:53 2006
Instance: 1
Run Time: 0.9910 seconds
Return Code: 76 - Adapter failed to put data on output

Input 1: FTP: -PORT -URL ftp://xxx:password@url.com/db/*.file;type=A

Output 1: File: C:\myfile\output\*.txt

Audit File: <none>

The verbose tracing on the FTP adapter verified successful connection and directory changes. But no matter what directory I direct my output, I get a 76. Am I missing something? Management console shows card 2 and -99998 error.

Thanks in advance.

The site doesn't reflect my actual FTP command statement, but it is correct.

The parameters don'tlook right. What is Target= ?

An example would be

-PORT -URL ftp://xxx:password@url.com/db/*.file;type=A -MKD -T

Where -MKD is to create the directory if it doesn't exist.

Target is a local file. Turn on the audit log for the map. Turn on output backup (to the map directory)
Also turn on output trace. Also, what are transactions setting in the output card for the file target.
Do you have create on content? !create?

I turned on all audit logs and generated, restarted and the map didn't run. Nothing. The I got 4 GPF's. :)

-- GPF report - Tue Feb 14 10:31:00 2006

Exception code: 0xc0000005
Exception address: 0x419f98
Number parameters: 2

Component: SabaDBMove
Map: E:\EC\Appint\SabaDBMove.mmc

INACTIVE Input Card 1: 0 xxx
INACTIVE Output Card 1: 0 xxx

EXIT type: 0
Cleanup: 0

RUN map: <none>

-- end of GPF report

I'm looking into it.

Change the input to file, use a test file and send to Support.
What version of DS TX and what OS version?

6.7 win2k sp4.

A time event could not even get this map to run - it just sat there and generated the same GPF after GPF. I'll do as you say and ship it off to Support.

Can you run from Map Designer? Delete output card, turn on imput backup, see if it is failing there.

What is page size & count?
