Hello all,
I have a customer with 4 cordless phones, 2 base stations, 2 phones on each.

1 base station is in the phone room and is fine.
the other base station is upstairs in a mezanine area.

About 3 pm the 2 phones in that area quit working.

I went there yesterday and sure enough they both said searching....

I picked up the base station and it was very hot.
It is 96 degrees up there.

I cooled off the base station and they started working.

Anybody hear of this?

If it's that hot up there then I would relocate the unit to a cooler normal enviroment.
Electronics do not like the temps that high.

The phones work SOOOO well I am afraid to move the base unit.

The customer is as we speak having air conditioning installed.
I got a little fan and placed pointed it toward the base unit.
Today was good.

Wow. Someone actually COMPLIMENTED the t7406....maybe there is something in heating up the bases?
