I have another tech calling me about a problem.
He installed Two 7324's with two KLM's on each phone.
when any other employee dials either one of the two new 7324's extension numbers while on an outside call, it's not showing on another call. It only happens with those two phones.
This is an 8x24 with DR5 I have never heard or seen that.
Has anyone else.

sorry blonde day i know them as caps

the only time i've had problems with caps is the polarity of the power supply ,and since you have 2 per set i'd double check and see the pinout of the line cords, are they reversed or straight throught
if one of the k.l.m. has a reversal it messes up the other one

HALLOWED ARE THE ORI

Does this happen with the caps unplugged? Sounds more like DND on busy set to N? But I cant remember if that was a setting on the older software.

are the receptionists using headsets? with the M series I noted that the BLF's and "on another call" message don't take effect when a headset is involved.

Shouldn't matter if the KLM is assigned as a CAP. That just allows lines to overflow onto the KLM. I'd double check the wiring. Should go from wall jack to 1st KLM, from 1st KLM to 2nd KLM, from 2nd KLM to 7324. All 6-conductor cords as well.
