7316 e and no e

Does the 7316 "e" work on all systems? I have a client who can not use the Headset and Handsfree on his compact.

7316e will operate as a 7316 if being used on systems w/ s/w older than 6.1.

Don't forget that the handsfree button on the E version is under the dialpad and NOT under the intercom's where it always has been in the past.

Is auto Handsfree enabled ?

On older sw revisions, the system sees 7316's as 7310's. Because of the translated button mapping, lines assigned to them cannot occupy the top 4 buttons on the set.
Upgrade software to correct.
