Hello,

I need a little help. We have an older system with 7316 sets. Now i want to add a couple new sets and they are 7316e. The 7316e is installed but the buttons are not place like the 7316. Is it possible to have all the lines and paging button moved to be the same as the 7316?

Thanks for the help.

To move lines yes, to move them to where you want then no.

Lines will not go on top 3 buttons each side as thinks it is an M7310.

There should be a small "cheat sheet" on the bottom of your phone. To program a "feature autodial", like page, voice call, conference, or transfer, press feature *3. The phone will tell you to press the button you want to program, and then enter the feature code. (Also on the cheat sheet)

To program an internal autodial, to call another ext, press f*2, the button, then the extension number.

To program an external number on a button, press f*1, the button, and the phone number, then press ok.

Line buttons, as the other guys are saying, can be moved by pressing f*81, and following the prompts.

To check a button's programming, press f*0 (button inquiry), and the button you want to check.

More intricate programming may be involved if you want to add or remove lines/ringing from the new sets.
