7230 Attachment Viewing Problems

We're running:

v3.6.0.29 BES
Exchange 2000
v3.6.2.9 BB Desktop Manager
v3.7.1.41 BB Handheld Software
BB Model 7230 Devices

On my 7230, I can view .doc and .xls documents without any problem. When I attempt to view any .pdf, I get a "Document is empty." error. When I attempt to view any .tif, the "Open Attachment" menu option is not available.

How can I view .pdf and .tif documents? Thanks.

I don't think these handhelds can read graphics files such as tifs. As to PDFs, we have the same issue and we are investigating it now.

There is a folder in the BES server install with a list of all the formats that it converts, look in the attachment folder and the pdf convertor should be there BBDM_PDF.DLL, i dont think RIM provide a TIF convertor
