7206VXR+PA-MC-T3+ATM

Has anyone done ATM with a 7206VXR and a PA-MC-T3 card... What I'm trying to accomplish is a single card to do multi-protocols for T-1 interfaces. Mostly just PPP and ATM. I need to be able to setup seperate sub-interfaces on the ATM-T1 (ie. 1/0/1:0.1 1/0/1:0.2 etc...) which would allow me to put different pvc's on each sub interface. Has anyone done this or does anyone have a lab with a PA-MC-T3 card available to check it out. I don't want to buy a card unless it works

I tried doing the same thing. Unfortunately I found out that you cannot use the PA-MC-T3 card for ATM. They do make a T-1 IMA card(4/8 port). You can set up seperate PVC on each of those interfaces. Hopes this helps.

Ya... we ended up going with a 8port IMA card for ATM. None of the MC-T3 cards will do ATM on a single port... althought you can get a full c-bit T3-ATM card.
