7206 WOULD NOT BOOT!!!!!!!

I just got a 7206 with the following configuration:
2 1-Fast Ethernet portadaptors
1 4-Ethernet portadaptor
1 4-Serial portadaptor
48MB RAM
8 MB RAM

and i get the following message as soon as i boot it up...and the message keep on repeating itself and nothing else ever comes up.

any ideas please??

just a thought, however have you tried to do a password recovery, Thus changing the

I've seen this with a bad IOS load for the boards in the chassis. Pull all the adapters out.. serial and ethernet and try a boot..

why?? this line right here..

fatal error on an port adapter which hopefully is the serial or ethernet boards. In my case, it was the ethernet board that the new IOS didnt support correctly.

is this the same tech with the serial adaperthat doesn't get recognized try the 4 port t1 card first get it out and try to boot it again
