7206 Serial connection

I have a cisco 7206 with a 25 pin serial cable. Well I need to get that down to a 9 pin for my laptop. A regular converter does not work. Is there something special that I have to have.

You can console by using a 25-pin to RJ-45 adapter on the router side connected via flat rollover cable to a RJ-45 to 9-pin adapter on your notebooks serial port. Regards,
