7204 not discovering CDP neighbour on fastethernet

CDP is enabled, and it's discovering the CDP neighbours on the CBR/ATM side, it's just the fastethernet subinterfaces that aren't discovering.

I've checked and CDP is enabled on the router and the C5000 that's locally attached to it.

The C5000 discovers the router just fine.

The router is running:

IOS (tm) 7200 Software (C7200-J-M), Version 11.1(31)CC, EARLY DEPLOYMENT RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
V111_31_CC_THROTTLE_BRANCH Synced to mainline version: 11.1(31)CA

Any ideas?

Silly question is the cdp active on the ethernet interface? J.Fisher CCNA
