72-210 & 70-210. Are they the same?

I recently took a 210 course at college and was given an exam voucher. I have been told that my voucher qualifies me to take 72-210 exam. Will this give me an MCP qualification, as the 70-210 does? Or, is it not as powerful a qualification as an MCP?

Help!!!

The exam number is 70-210. 72-210 would have been the beta version of the 70-210 exam. This beta version has been unavailable for years. Beta exams are also by invite only.
