I have 2 of these printers at my office, one of them on draft mode prints really fast at a good 18ppm but the other only seems to manage about 8-9ppm. both are connected via the Jetdirect print server and using "standard TCP/IP Port" not the HP one (as i found the standard one is quicker). one thing to note is the slower one is newer and seems to be running a newer version of the jet direct.
what could be affecting the print speed so much? most things we print are from Sage (invoice's, Del notes ect ect)
and is there anyway i can make it faster?
