im hoping that someeone with someone with experience of this can help me. client wants vm to email setup and apparently the license is free for up to 5 users.
i have set the gateway in vmaa. mailbox.gateway settings as follows
host ID: smtp.xxx.xxx
user ID whatever@gmail.com
port: 587
encryption: tsl
requires auth: yes
i have added the emails to be sent to in system parameters aswell and set MWI and forward options to yes.
in the activity log file the error shows unable to resolve smtp relay.......
i have the correct gateway ip and dns i have added as google (8.8.8.8)
also i have set the ip white list.
Any ideas as to why i get this error????????
