I have an ATL L500 (14-tape) loader with a failed TH6XE drive (7000-series). I have access to a TH8XG-GT.
Any problems or any sugesstions as info is rather hard to run into.
Any links to repair info would be great as I sure havn't been able to find a thing.

Thanks,
Ron

the drives are interchangeable so long as same flavour SE or HVD, 5 screws on the back disconnect the cables as you slide it out (watch your hands as it can be rough on the edges),4 screws in the mounting bracket, 2 screws for the drive door motor and remove the scsi cable at rear and ID cable front left. any specific problem?
