70-300 MCSD .Net Solution Architectures

I've read a few postings that indicate this exam does not follow the official Microsoft self study guide.

Has anybody else found this?
Also does anybody know somewhere in the UK that offers the course without having to do the other modules that make up the MCSD as a job lot?

Its not so much that it doesn't follow the book, its more that the format differs from the other exams.

Instead of just getting hit with questions testing your knowledge, you get case studies to read and answer questions on...it tests your understanding of MSF and your ability to apply it to a real world situation.

The study guide is great, but this is one of the few exams taht you probably can't just do a brain dump on.

Now, all that said, I'm only studying for it and havn't taken it yet...but that's the feeling i get from reading posts of people who have taken it.

Yikes. Sounds tougth.

It will be six months before I start to look at this one but I am planning ahaead.
