Audience Profile: The Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) on Windows Server 2003 upgrade exam is available only to candidates who are currently certified as MCSAs or as MCSEs on Windows 2000.
This begs the question: Are you certified as as MCSA or as MCSE on Windows 2000? If so, this is part of the upgrade path towards MCSA or MCSE on Windows Server 2003.

Yes i have just finished my 2k MCSA and want to take the upgrade, i'm just trying to work out when will be the best time for me to fit in the revision. I wondered if there was less to cover than a typical MCP exam as i notice this module doesn't get you MCP status i wondered if there was less to learn.

Thanks.

pinkpanther56,

By definition, MCP status is only conferred once. Since you'd already have MCP before MCSA/MCSE on Windows 2000, you can't earn MCP again on Windows Server 2003.

As far as how much material there is to cover on the upgrade exams, I can't tell you what to expect, but on Microsoft exams, you should always expect them to be very difficult and broad of topic.

Ok thanks i think i'll get a copt of the Exam cram book, i've used that for the other exams and they seem very good.

Cheers.
