For those who are interested, here is my experience with the 70-285 exam.

First off, I passed. 880 out of 1000 with 700 passing. Yay team!

Second, if you already have the experience and you need a test prep, TestKing is your best (money, format, etc) way to go.

Finally, here's what the test "looks" like:

6 scenarios, with 4-7 questions per scenario and 20-30 minutes given per scenario.

Time left over from one scenario DOES NOT carry over.

Scenarios include text and pictures of network or AD layouts. Exam questions are single choice, multiple choice and some drag-and-drop (but no simulators).

At the end of a scenario, you have a chance to review your questions. At the end of the exam you DO NOT have a chance to review again. You get 15 min for comments, but not changes.

As was my experience when I took 70-297, this exam crashed in the middle. DO NOT PANIC. Get the proctor and they restart the exam and it picks up right where you left off. But the first time it happened I needed to change my underwear.

My suggestions on strategy:
Each scenario comes up with buttons to let you read the network layout, interviews, goals, etc. Then there is the button labeled "All". Click that one. Don't mess with anyting else. However, read on...

When you click "Next", you go to the questions. BUT you can still get to the "All" button too. So my suggestion is to get into the scenario, click "Next" so you are looking at the questions, and then go back to "All". Make a few notes that you think are important, but then go to the question. Read the question, look at the possible answers, then click "All" again and start skimming for the info you need.

Your mileage may vary, objects might be closer than they appear, this might not work for you, monkeys might jump out of the computer and start shoving live ferrets up your nose. It's a crazy world, right?

But it worked for me so I figured I would share.
