70-271 answer file and udf 2

I am new to this course can you help me. A question has come up about answer file ,it has confused me the test notes say that if the key and value are specified in the answer file and the key is is not specified in the udf . The outcome is the value in the answer file is used .The test sim says the the value in the udf is used ????

The answer file value is used in this case.

It is impossible to use the value in the UDF , because without a key there can be no value to associate with it.

I looked in my MCDST 70-271 and 272 Update Deluxe Book by Bill Ferguson and Bill Causey

Be aware that line numbers #1 and #2 are column heads

It indicates that:

1) Answer File UDF Result
Key and value Key not Specified Value in the
Specified answer file is used

2) Answer File UDF Result
Key and value Key and Value
Specified Specified Value in the udf
file is used


For example,

1.If Key and Value is specified in the answer file and the key not specified in the udf file, the value in the answer is used

2.If key and value is specified in the answer file and the key and value specified in the udf file, the value in the udf file is used
