Hello All
Again question about the per seat/server licensing.

windows 2000 server with 5 CAL means..

only 5 clients can access or we need to have 5 unique client license to access the windows 2000 server.
Is my understanding correct..?

Also If I add two more machines to the network to join the w2k server domain, what I need to do..
Do I need to upgrade my w2k server with 5 CAL to 10 CAL..
Is this possible.

Also in my w2k server how do I found out whether it is per server/per seat and how many CAL it can support..

regards
MP

5 cal means only 5 connections to the server.

you find the licencing options in start..admin tools..licencing
