Switched a customer to a new PRI and now 7-digit dialing isn't working for local calls. The Provider states the call needs to be flagged as "unknown". As far as I can tell, you can only do International and National on a Magix r4.0. Anyone else ever have this issue and know of a work-around. They are outpulsing the main number for all calls.

I guess I could add the area code for local dialing through ARS. That should work if I'm not mistaken.

Telecomboy,

Remember on ISDN PRI or BRI all signaling is done on the D Channel. There is NO outpulsing of anything. The digits are sent as data in the call set up message.

As far as 7D versus 10D for outgoing calls, your provider may be set up for all 10D or 1+10D. Is the home NPA an Overlay NPA? That may explain the difference...
