Hi
I am a telecoms techie and not IT, however have good knowledge of most things PC.

I am using outlook 2010 on my laptop and some years ago added a folder under Personal Folders/Inbox/Mail last 7 Days.

The way it worked was that all mail received in the last 7 days would go into that folder as well as Inbox, but it would delete itself from there after 7 days, so all that was visible in there was a rolling 7 days

Recently this has stopped working and I just cannot figure out how to get it working again.
My OS is Windows 7

can anyone please help?
Thanks

Create a rule? Never tried that particular item. I suppose you could do it with 2 rules: one to copy, one to delete.

VBA script would work.

Most likely: Search folders. I bet it was a Search folder. I used it, but I didn't use it for a specific date range. A Search folder basically is a query, so it is like creating a view of whatever info you want. It doesn't actually store/duplicate the data, but rather is more like a pointer to the data, or in this case your email messages.

"But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 15:57

A search folder would certainly achieve the goal - but I don't think you can put one under PersonalFolders/Inbox
