7.5 Signaling Server Patch Problems

I am attempting to patch a 7.5 signaling server that is a part of a MGS card. It appears to have 2 previous patches installed. I am trying to remove them, and install the latest linuxbase, latest baseweb, latest patchweb, and the latest service pack. When I try to poos the old patches, they both fail to uninstall. When I try to pload the new patches, they will not load with a patch handle. Here are a few outputs below, please help.

Is this an in service machine? If so it should have waaaaaay more patches than that. Once the 3 base patches are installed in 7.5 via command line then you should always do the service pack via patch manager, not command line. Why do you think it only has 2 patches? Can you reload the linux?

you need to go one more in.

[admin2@0.0.0.0 patch]$ cd /var/opt/nortel/patch/sp

copy the patch via WinSCP to this directory.

[admin2@0.0.0.0 sp]$ spload cs1000-linuxbase-7.50.17.16-21.i386.000.ntl
Make sure you "spload" and not "pload". This is a Service Pack not a patch. YOu can change to .ntl or keep it as a .zip. Either way it will work fine.

He is trying to load the 3 base patches, not the SP. He was in the right spot.
