I have a 6x16 KSU that looses ALL settings when the power fails. Yes, we have a UPS hooked up, however if the UPS is turned off in error, or an extended power failure happens and the UPS battery is drained, then the KSU has to be reprogrammed as if it was a brand-new install. Is there a CMOS battery or something similiar that can be replaced to retain programming on this KSU incase the power to the unit is lost? Thank you.

This is usually a replacement of the software. There is a "battery" but it is soldered on. It is also difficult to source a replacement. If you were to power down the ksu, pull the software card, and take it apart you will see a blue battery about the size of five quarters stacked. That is what you will need to replace.
Merry Christmas![smile]
