Hi,

On 6E4 - how would one switch off the "fault" led at the front without using smit - just from command line ?

"Long live king Moshiach !"

If you can do it from SMIT - can you get the command from 'F6' ?

Alex

LO,

you can try the diag command :
diag
task selection
<depending of the model server>
identify and attention indicators
set all identify indicators to NORMAL

hi levw,

from diag, task selection, select log repair and select the device

Normaly to reset the fault led you should try this:

/usr/lpp/diagnostics/bin/usysfault -s normal

It's the only way i know out of using diag to switch if off

Good luck
