this is One for the "Old Timers" I'm looking for a Drawing or something on the Old Western electric 6B KTU, It appears to be a small Relay, with 9 screw Terminals 6 of which have Wires Going to the actual Relay, so if it "Breaks" I know what to replace it with, (the relay is 30+ years old)

From what I can remember, the 6B's were used for observation circuits, don't have a diagram anymore, but the 6 wired terminals should be for relay operation, T+R in, and T+R out to observation unit,T+R cuts thru when relay operates
Hope you know this one really exercised the memory !

I have the BSPs on the KTUs in a handbook, but not in a form to post. So I will give you the terminal description of the 6B/C here:

The coil is on terminals 5 and 7, and has a 25 ohm dc resistance. The break contact is on terminals 1 and 8, the make contact is on terminals 3 and 4. This KTU was used for busy lamp and supervisory type circuits. The BSP section is 518-112-421 page 4.

You can sometimes find this equipment in an 'abandoned state' in phone rooms or closets across the counrty. I have a few of them that I keep for special applications. It is funny how some technologies make things so simple and somewhat universal to do!

Hope this helps!
