69xx ScreenSaver

Anyone had a play with the ScreenSaver and Branding on the 69xx series phones yet, Followed the instructions to the letter but nothing showing in the dropdown under the user.

Not yet as i did not have the time yet.
We have some 5360's with a screensaver so there must be setup something for that already.

From the 69xx marketing bulletin:

What features that are available on the existing 5300 family won’t be available on the new 6900 family at GA?
The following software features will not be available at GA but will be made available in follow-on firmware releases post GA of the phones:
Visual Voicemail
Float Keys
HTML Toolkit / XML API – common HTML Toolkit features (screen savers / branding / Live Directory) are now supported natively on the 6900 series
IPv6

This release estimate Q1 2017.

It is supported in the current release and I now have it working.

You do not select it any more from the Drop down in Users its auto selected based on the phone type, Also does not work on Teleworkers

you create the files in the correct format and then upload using the new form

they are handset dependent not user defendant

the 6920 one gets applied to all 6920 once its uploaded etc.

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

I find the response. It's from the new menu "Phone Applications Update" with the release MiVB 8.0SP1
