I've got a customer that just called about a new 6930 phone that he turned up yesterday. He's trying to pair a Bluetooth Headset to the phone and it's not showing the Bluetooth feature in the settings.

I compared to one that we're using at my office. Press settings, it shows about 10 or so icons. On his, it shows 4.

Before I open a ticket with support on this, I'm asking here... also have asked that the customer turn up another phone to see if there's a difference.

We compared the versions - our phone system and theirs is running the same version. His phone is version 001, ours is 000.

Any ideas?

I've posted a photo of his phone settings - he can't scroll left or right, whereas our phone can.

What version is the phone running and more specifically is it prior to 01.00.00.148

Main Version 01.03.00.112
Call Server Rev 14.0.3.37
Model MINET_6930 Rev: 001

Why would "Advanced" be disabled? I'm on the phone with Mitel Support and they're suggesting that WE disabled that in the phone system.

In the PBX, System Properties, System Administration, System Security Management - added a "Phone Administrator Passcode". This now allows the user to see the settings they need for Bluetooth.

Also received the following from support - I have not tested this yet.
As of 6900 series set firmware 1.3.0.105 or greater, there is a required setting in the Class of Service for the 6900 series sets.
The set must have a value programmed for Long Key Press Timer between 1-5.
This is under the General tab, then subsection Miscellaneous and then option Long Key Press Timer.

If there is not a value between 1-5 the set will not display the following options after pressing the Settings button:
Language, Voicemail, Call Forward, Config Teleworker, WiFi, Bluetooth, Reset
