Hi

I’m planning to upgrade a MIVO 400 system to a MIVB 9.4 and keep the 68xx series handsets.
What features/functionalities will I lose on the handsets by connecting them on to MIVB ?

Thanks

Check the compatibility matrix at miaccess.

I suppose you're entitled to your opinion, I'm just not going to suppose very hard.

Thanks

Yes they work as a generic sip ext with limited funstionality

Is there a way to get MWI working on those handsets?

should be able to play with SDC for the users that have those handsets - make a new one so as not to break something for other devices

have found that changing Allow MWI Notifications without Subscription sometimes helps with Sip devices

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

SDC did work and MWI is now working.
Thanks

Is it possible to host a directory on a TFTP server or something for the 6800 handsets ?

You could possibly stick the firmware in same directory as MIVb uses but it would be overwritten on upgrades

if the MIVB is virtual you might be able to sftp them to this folder

Yes you can host any tftp file, an upgrade will likely remove it as stated but easy to do
