6509 Dual Sups question

so we have a 6509 with the Sup720's in it.
The sup's are configured to run in a active/standby configuration.
We would like to use both supervisors uplink ports for fiber connetions to downstream switches.
Is this possible or can we only use the active supervisors ports?

im sorry. It appears that we are already using both Gig uplink ports already.

However im looking to use the 10Gig uplinks instead of the 1 gigs. As we are already using it i assume theres no difference between using the 1gigs vs 10gigs.
