I have an RS/6000 7025 F50, and would like to know how I ascertain whether it's processing in 64 or 32 bit?

Anyone got a clue? (please)

hi ,
to find out if server is capable

bootinfo -y
lsattr -El proc0

to determine if 64 bit kernel is loaded ( on AIX 4.3.3)

genkex | grep 64
you'll get something like
a3ec /usr/lib/drivers/syscalls64.ext

retyrned which means it is

HTH

root@hqax01 / >bootinfo -y
32

Don't seem to have the 'genkex' command installed on my system...

hi,
