So, if I am running a 64 bit OS, do I have to run a 64 bit version of 2005? Is there even a stable 64 bit version of 2005?

No, you can run the 32bit version on a 64bit OS if you would like. However you do not get the memory benifits of 64bit, but you can do it.

Um, yes. Why would you think that there is an unstable version of 64bit version of SQL 2005?

It seemed to me that I had heard of some not so stable 64 bit MS Apps, that's all. Thanks for the info.
