Are there 64 bit ODBC and OLE drivers as well as 64 bit Oracle Objects for 9i? If so, where can I get them? I can't seem to find them on Oracle's website.

Andrew,

the short answer is that I haven't a clue. However, I do wonder, is your client machine really 64 bit? Most machines I've heard of are 32 bit boxes, usually running windoze xp or (suppressed shudder) vista.

Are you one of the fortunate few with a 64 bit beastie on your desk? If you are, what machine is it and who makes it? I'd kinda like one of those myself.

Yours in envy

Regards

We have several 64bit Dell Precision workstations and PowerEdge servers running 64bit OS's. As software developers, we have to test our product on all sorts of different environments.

Which 64 bit OS's???

Server 2003, Server 2003-R2, and Server 2008.
On the desktop side, 64bit Vista and a few XP Pros

When I try to run the 32bit client of net manager on a 64bit OS, nothing happens - no error messages, nothing in the event viewer. Is the 32bit version compatible with the 64bit OS?

(The 32bit seems to work fine in an identical setup except with a 32bit OS).
