I am trying to connect a 6200yl to an avaya G7000.
The 6200yl has the latest firmware, the 1000 baseT port is configured to work as a 100Mbps.
when I connect the avaya gateway the link doesn't go up.
other devices operating at a speed of 100Mbps are working.

any ideas?

Do you get connect lights? Do you need to use a crossover cable?

I'm not to up on Definitys, but is this a switch card in the phone system or just a ethernet port for IP trunking, or management, or etc...?
The Avaya's port might need to be adjusted... Does it connect at 10Mb?

I know even in the last versions of their Merlin, they never got out of the use of 2400 bps on their management port, so maybe they haven't gotten this port up to 100Mb capable yet... just spit-balling on that one.
